Micro-needle radiofrequency versus skin nanolifting?

Keeping your skin looking young and radiant for a longer period of time is possible with micro-needle radiofrequency treatment. The effects are practically immediate and you can notice skin rejuvenation, including improved skin quality and thickening, or reduction of wrinkles, scars and stretch marks.
Therefore, the reduction of skin imperfections is one of the main advantages of micro-needle radiofrequency treatment. Also noteworthy is the fact that the therapy itself does not require a scalpel and is virtually non-invasive. However, regardless of the high safety of the procedure, the patient is always referred for a medical consultation, must perform the necessary tests and properly prepare for the therapy.

During the procedure, multiple micropunctures of the skin are performed at different depths – usually from 0.2 to 3.5 mm simultaneously emitting high-frequency radio waves. Thanks to this combination, the tissues in the area of the needles are heated, which in turn stimulates collagen to rebuild and does not cause the risk of skin burns.

The treatment itself is thus a combination of two methods: radiofrequency and micropuncture. The first technique is related to acting on the skin through a radiofrequency electromagnetic wave. It stimulates tissue regeneration by heating the tissue. Microneedling, on the other hand, is a process that involves the use of micro-needles. The tiny needles mechanically damage the tissue and stimulate it to regenerate. The presence of micro-needles during the treatment causes each layer of the treated skin to be heated evenly.

The big advantages of micro-needle radiofrequency are its low invasiveness, high effectiveness, negligible risk of complications and short recovery time. The procedure can be performed at any time of the year. Such advantages give micro-needle radiofrequency a huge advantage over other fractional laser treatments.

Micro-needle radiofrequency for face and body regeneration

Micro-needle radiofrequency is an innovative method to regenerate the skin and improve its appearance and condition. The procedure involves inserting tiny micro-needles deep into the skin, which emit radio waves, resulting in the stimulation of skin regeneration processes and increased production of collagen and elastin. Micro-needle radiofrequency is an effective method in the fight against signs of skin aging, including visible wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, as well as skin imperfections. This treatment can be used on the face, as well as on other parts of the body, such as the décolletage, neck, shoulders and thighs. In addition to rejuvenation, the treatment also helps reduce underarm sweating.

With the help of micro-needle radiofrequency, the regenerative processes of the skin are intensively stimulated, resulting in the restoration of the skin and improvement of its firmness and elasticity. The effects of the treatment are already visible after the first session, and only become more apparent over time as the skin’s regeneration processes progress.

Micro-needle radiofrequency treatment is safe and non-invasive, which means it does not require a long recovery period. The patient can return to daily activities immediately after the procedure, but it is necessary to avoid exposing the treatment area to sunlight. The procedure is also suitable for people with sensitive skin, as it causes no irritation or pain – usually only a slight swelling occurs.

Indications

Micro-needle radiofrequency is a minimally invasive procedure, a non-surgical technique that is recommended to maintain youthful, fresh-looking skin for a longer period of time. The therapy can be used for both men and women in the form of anti-aging prevention, skin, neck and bar turning revitalization.

It is also a recommended solution for those struggling with flabby body skin, such as women after pregnancy. In addition, if you want:

  • Find effective anti-aging prevention,
  • Replace damaged tissue with new and elastic tissue of proper structure
  • Get a lipolifting effect on the skin, eyes, face, neck and décolleté,
  • Improve skin tone, reduce wrinkles, nasolabial furrows,
  • Narrow the pores,
  • Lighten dark circles under the eyes and improve skin tone,
  • Shape the chin line,
  • Model and lift the cheeks,
  • Reduce acne and post-traumatic scars,

And not to worry about excessive interference and possible complications after the procedure, then micro-needle radiofrequency will be an excellent choice.

Contraindications

Micro-needle radiofrequency is a treatment that is not highly invasive and does not involve significant risks. It can be successfully performed even on delicate skin without causing significant irritation. Despite this, there are some contraindications to performing radiofrequency. These include:

  • Active inflammation of the skin, especially in the treated area,
  • ongoing bacterial, viral or fungal infections, as well as the period immediately following them,
  • Unregulated diabetes and untreated hypertension,
  • certain types of cancer,
  • Clotting disorders and taking blood-thinning drugs,
  • Wound healing disorders and a tendency to scarring,
  • inflammation of blood vessels and lymphatic vessels,
  • Pregnancy and lactation period,
  • Pacemaker and other metal components in the body.

There may be more contraindications to micro-needle radiofrequency. Much depends on the individual situation of the client or customer. Some factors are so important that they cause a complete disqualification, while others require only a wait. In order to maximize the comfort and safety of those undergoing treatment, each procedure is preceded by a consultation with a specialist, during which a thorough history and skin examination is conducted.

Course of treatment

Micro-needle radiofrequency treatment, although non-invasive, requires the patient to attend a medical consultation in advance. During it, the specialist will evaluate the skin lesions and the possibilities that the therapy will provide. If there are any doubts, he will refer the Patient for additional diagnostic tests to rule out contraindications and the risk of complications.

Before the procedure, a special anesthetic ointment is applied to the patient. The treated skin is disinfected and meticulously cleaned, to be then pricked with a special matrix of micro-needles. The procedure is carried out with disposable needles of adjustable length – from 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm. The device’s heads allow for a treatment area of 1cm2, with 25 needles for the face and 49 needles for the body.

The doctor pricks the patient’s skin with special heads and decides how deep the needles should go into the skin. The therapy device uses heat energy, which is then distributed inside the dermis at a depth that corresponds to the lengths of the needles. Thanks to the use of thin needles, virtually no traces remain on the patient’s skin after the treatment. The only noticeable feature is a slight reddening of the epidermis, which resembles a thin mesh. All the energy propagates inside the dermis and acts directly on collagen fibers, so the risk of side effects is practically negligible.

The procedure takes about 40 minutes, a maximum of 1.5 hours – depending on the size of the area to be pricked. The number of treatments performed is selected individually and depends on the diagnosis of the specialist performing the procedure, the condition of the skin and the age of the patient. The type of problem is also of great importance. Usually a series of 3 – 4 treatments carried out at intervals of 1 month is recommended. After completing the treatment, a so-called “reminder treatment” can be performed once every six months.

Effects

After micro-needle radiofrequency treatment, there is virtually no risk of pigmentation discoloration. The thermal effect is very low, so there is no vaporization of the epidermis and formation of spots. The device allows to achieve the effect of strong, comprehensive regeneration of the skin, which are already visible after the first treatment. After the therapy is completed, the area subjected to radiofrequency treatment should be cooled and then moistened with preparations (also with cooling properties). This reduces the risk of possible side effects. After the therapy, there may be a slight swelling on the skin, which, however, disappears spontaneously after 1 – 2 days. After micro-needle radiofrequency, you should also avoid sunbathing and use sunscreen for 2 weeks.

The results of micro-needle radiofrequency can be divided into two groups: those visible immediately and those that become apparent after some time. Immediately after the procedure is completed, collagen fibers shrink, giving the skin more tension. Over the next few weeks to 2 – 5 months, the production of new collagen is stimulated, its fibers shorten and thicken, and new bonds are built. As a result, the skin becomes firmer and more resilient. The rebuilding of collagen also promotes the filling of fine wrinkles, and scars and stretch marks become shallower, or disappear altogether. Micro-needle radiofrequency treatments are one of the most effective methods in the fight against skin imperfections.

If you’re looking for an effective way to improve self-esteem and want to reduce skin problems associated with wrinkles and lost firmness, then micro-needle radiofrequency will meet your needs, that’s what.
