Doctor of Medical Sciences in the field of dentistry and a physician performing aesthetic medicine procedures

Dr n. med. Dominika Polak is a doctor deeply committed to the field of aesthetic medicine, particularly in the area of comprehensive facial transformations. Her passion lies in creating healthy and beautiful smiles through an innovative combination of dentistry and aesthetic medicine. This approach allows patients not only to enjoy an improved appearance but also to regain their confidence and psychological comfort.

Dr. Dominika Polak’s work is based on the belief that a smile is the key to many positive changes in patients’ lives. The combination of dentistry with non-invasive methods of aesthetic medicine, aimed at treating and camouflaging oral cavity changes, remains within the specialist’s scientific interests. For Dr. Dominika Polak, patient satisfaction and the achievement of desired results are the top priorities, along with helping to eliminate disorders within the stomatognathic system through aesthetic medicine solutions.

Education

In 2006, Dr. Dominika Polak obtained her higher education at the Pomeranian Medical Academy in Szczecin. Continuing her studies in dentistry, she defended her doctoral thesis in 2012 at the Faculty of Prosthodontics. Wanting to provide the best possible care for her patients, in 2020, she completed postgraduate studies at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, specializing in facial aesthetic medicine.

Her dissertation focused on the use of hyaluronic acid-based fillers as a tool for aesthetically masking malocclusions. This topic in aesthetic medicine inspired Dr. Dominika Polak to pursue further research and practical applications in her work. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that can be safely used to contour the face and enhance aesthetics. Through precise injections, fillers correct bite deficiencies, restoring facial harmony and proportions.

Utilizing an innovative approach, Dr. Polak helps patients achieve aesthetic results without undergoing invasive surgical procedures. Currently, she sees patients at the Osipowicz Aesthetic Medicine Clinic in Warsaw, where she holistically integrates treatment with aesthetic medicine, improving both the appearance and function of the oral cavity and face.

Certificates/Courses/Training

Dentistry and aesthetic medicine intersect in various ways, forming a field where oral health, facial structure, and aesthetics are closely linked. The collaboration between these disciplines aims not only to improve oral function but also to enhance appearance and patient well-being.

Additionally, cooperation between aesthetic medicine specialists and dentists leads to innovative solutions and techniques that improve both oral aesthetics and function. This requires a comprehensive understanding of oral anatomy, facial structures, and dental physiology, which can be achieved through specialized training, postgraduate courses, and clinical practice.

Dr. Dominika Polak continually enhances her skills and updates her knowledge by participating in industry courses and training sessions. With years of experience, she willingly shares her expertise. Since 2021, she has been an instructor and lecturer in the GAIN by Galderma program. She is also an active member of the Polish Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging.

Through her involvement in the organization, she not only participates in training and conferences but also promotes high standards in aesthetic medicine and monitors the quality of services provided.

A Few Words About Me

Aesthetic medicine in dentistry and prosthetics plays a crucial role in improving patients’ appearance and overall well-being. The integration of these fields allows for a comprehensive approach to oral and facial aesthetics. The application of aesthetic medicine in dentistry helps to correct temporomandibular joint disorders.

Aesthetic therapies reduce muscle tension and alleviate pain associated with jaw joint dysfunction. As a result, patients experience improvements in both the aesthetics and function of the stomatognathic system, translating into overall physical and psychological well-being.

My passion is a holistic approach to patients, where I not only correct orthodontic malocclusions or issues related to bruxism but also relieve muscle tension. In my medical practice, I emphasize comprehensive care, aiming to alleviate my patients’ pain while creating harmonious facial proportions.

I specialize in:

  • Conservative dentistry
  • Aesthetic dentistry
  • Oral surgery
  • Prosthodontics
  • Periodontology
  • Aesthetic medicine
  • Aesthetic dermatology

My professional journey is not just clinical practice; it is also a continuous pursuit of self-improvement through education and training. I believe that dental health and aesthetics go hand in hand, which is why my goal is not only treatment but also enhancing patients’ quality of life through a beautiful smile.

As a result, facial transformation through aesthetic medicine and dentistry is not just about correcting malocclusions—it is a holistic transformation that includes improving facial contours and smile aesthetics.

In my interactions with patients, I emphasize the significant role aesthetic medicine plays in dentistry. Laser therapy, hyaluronic acid-based fillers, regenerative techniques using platelet-rich plasma, and bone grafts—all these aesthetic medicine procedures help improve facial proportions, contour features, and regenerate tissues. They not only ensure a more youthful appearance but also shorten recovery time.
