MD Anna Kowalczyk is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. She also completed postgraduate studies in aesthetic medicine for physicians at the Silesian Higher Medical School in Katowice. On a daily basis, she deals with the treatment of hair loss problems and performs FUE hair transplantation procedures.
In her work, she places great emphasis on proper diagnostics, informed therapeutic decision-making, and good communication with the patient. In her opinion, a hair transplant should be part of a well-thought-out treatment process rather than just a single procedure. During the consultation, she explains the causes of the problem, presents available treatment options, and discusses the realistic effects and limitations of individual methods. She wants the patient to leave the office not only with a specific treatment plan but also with the knowledge that allows them to consciously participate in the entire therapy process.
Education
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw. Subsequently, she pursued her interests in aesthetic medicine by completing postgraduate studies in “Aesthetic Medicine for Physicians” at the Silesian Higher Medical School in Katowice. In her further professional development, she devoted special attention to hair loss issues, scalp disease diagnostics, and hair transplantation.
Certificates / Courses / Training
MD Anna Kowalczyk develops her qualifications through participation in training courses, workshops, and international congresses dedicated to hair transplantation, trichology, and aesthetic medicine. She has completed, among others, the “FUE Hair Transplantation” course, a trichology course, and a medical trichology training with elements of dermatology and trichoscopy entitled “Fundamentals of Diagnostics and Treatment”. She also has preparation in dermatoscopic diagnostics – having completed a basic dermoscopy course organized by the Academy of Dermoscopy and the course “Videodermoscopy Made Simple – Diagnostics of Skin Diseases and Lesions” at the basic level.
She regularly participates in major scientific events related to hair restoration surgery. In 2025, she attended the 13th Annual Meeting FUE Europe in Madrid and the 33rd World Congress of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) in Berlin. She also participated in the Third Barcelona Hair Meeting and the 14th Annual Meeting FUE Europe in Warsaw in 2026. She honed her practical skills during workshops at Hospital De Dia Pio XII in Madrid with the participation of Dr. Christian Bisanga. She is also a graduate of the Hairmitage Academy.
She is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), an international association bringing together physicians specializing in the treatment of hair loss and surgical hair reconstruction.
A Few Words About Me
In working with patients, I care above all about trust, good communication, and informed decision-making. I believe that a doctor’s role does not end with performing a procedure—it is equally important to thoroughly explain what causes the problem, what the treatment options are, and what can be realistically expected from the therapy.
I treat every patient individually. During the consultation, we analyze the situation together and develop a management plan tailored to their needs and capabilities. I want to speak clearly about both the potential benefits of the treatment and its limitations, possible adverse reactions, and the time required to achieve the expected results.
In my work, I am guided by current medical knowledge and constantly expand my qualifications. I am particularly interested in the diagnostics and treatment of alopecia and hair transplantation. Regular participation in international congresses and training courses allows me to learn new techniques and exchange experiences with physicians dealing with hair restoration surgery worldwide.
