Rafał Jowik, M.D., Ph.D., is an outstanding physician with many years of clinical experience in otolaryngology. He specializes in the treatment of the larynx, throat, nose, paranasal sinuses, as well as the parotid and submandibular salivary glands. He also performs surgical procedures for tumors of the throat, larynx, and salivary glands, among others.
Additionally, his practice includes classical and laser microsurgery of the larynx, surgery of the paranasal sinuses and nasal cavities, as well as all types of emergency ENT procedures.
Thanks to his extensive experience and advanced skills, he performs procedures using both traditional surgical methods and modern laser and endoscopic techniques.
Education
Dr. Rafał Jowik obtained his medical degree between 2008 and 2014 at the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2018, he pursued his specialization in Otolaryngology at the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology of the Center of Postgraduate Medical Education (CMKP) and the Hospital in Dziekanów Leśny. From 2022, he continued his residency training in Otolaryngology at the Department of Otolaryngology in the Międzyleski Specialist Hospital.
In 2023, he received his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences after defending his doctoral dissertation titled: “Modification of the Sniffin’ Kids test for olfactory testing in the population of Polish children,” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Karolina Dżaman, MD, PhD, Prof. CMKP.

Driven by a great passion for medicine and a dedication to helping others, Dr. Rafał Jowik frequently participates in prestigious national and international conferences. Furthermore, he is actively involved in scientific research and shares his knowledge with students at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, where he serves as a lecturer in otolaryngology.
Dr. Rafał Jowik continuously enhances his professional competencies and pursues advanced training in head and neck surgery. His international training includes courses and workshops in Ljubljana, Glasgow, and Barcelona.
He currently works at the Department of Otolaryngology (CMKP Clinic) at the Mazovian “Bródno” Hospital in Warsaw, where he also serves as the Head of the Emergency ENT Service.
